This award recognizes an Alberta-based organization, committee, coalition, or informal group (three or more individuals) that demonstrates outstanding leadership in fostering active, engaged communities. The recipient group works across diverse sectors—such as recreation, social services, health, childcare, education, agriculture—to create initiatives that enhance citizen participation in active living, recreation and parks for healthier, more balanced lifestyles.
