SENIOR POOL GUARD / INSTRUCTOR
Temporary Full-Time Position (May -August)

Our team is seeking a Temporary Senior Pool Guard/ Instructor to assist in the overall operations of the Redwater Outdoor
Swimming Pool. This includes supervising junior pool staff, maintaining the facility, and any other duties assigned by the
Pool Manager or Assistant Pool Manager. Staff will be expected to work alternating evening/weekend shifts.
Requirements:
• 18 years of age or older
• National Lifeguard (NL) and/or Red Cross Lifeguard
• Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certificate (WSI) or Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor/Examiner Certificate
(Life Saving Society-LSI)
• Current First Aid/CPR (Level C) Certificate and/or Aquatic Emergency Care
• Strong leadership, customer service, supervisory and team building skills are required
• Pool Operator Level I, Water Art or Water Fitness Certification would be an asset
• Lifesaving Society Instructor certification would be an asset
• WHIMIS certification would be an asset
• Criminal record check is required

Salary range for this position is based on level of education and experience and is between $23.78-26.79 an hour
