The County of Wetaskiwin is seeking a Recreation Facilities Foreman to assist the Director of Leisure & Community Services in coordinating, overseeing and implementing the maintenance and enhancement of recreation and parks facility operations, managing capital redevelopment projects and ensuring awareness and adherence to safety legislation and best practices for the operation of facilities. This position will supervise the operation and maintenance of all County campgrounds and is responsible in the daily operation and maintenance of the Winfield Arena in coordinating ice maintenance, ice scheduling and billing, general maintenance of equipment and janitorial duties.
This is a term position commencing approximately April 10, 2023 with a proposed end date of October 25, 2024. Hours of work will be varied; expectation will be minimum 40 hours per week. A Criminal Record Check will be required for the successful applicant.
