POOL MANAGER
Temporary Full Time Position (May – August)

Our team is seeking a Pool Manager to be responsible for the overall management and operations of the Redwater
Outdoor Swimming Pool. This includes but is not limited to: supervising and scheduling all pool staff, maintaining the
facility and pertinent records, develop and maintain ongoing training of staff, promote a diversified aquatics program for
all ages, attend staff meetings and work with community groups, order supplies, and any other duties as approved by
the Community Services Manager. Staff will be expected to work alternating evening/weekend shifts.
Requirements:
• 18 years of age or older
• National Lifeguard (NL) and/or Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
• Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certificate (WSI) or Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor/Examiner Certificate
(Life Saving Society-LSI)
• Current First Aid/CPR Certificate and/or Aquatic Emergency Care
• Minimum 3 years guarding and instructional experience required.
• Supervisory skills preferably in an aquatics setting.
• Strong leadership, customer service and team building skills are required.
• First Aid/CPR Instructor is an asset
• Pool Operator Level I, Water Art or Water Fitness Certification is a definite asset.
• WHIMIS certification is an asset
• Criminal Record check is required

Salary range for this position is based on level of education and experience and is between
$26.26-30.16 an hour
