The opportunity
Leduc County is looking for an experienced and highly motivated seasonal Parks Custodian and Maintenance Worker to join our team. Reporting to the Community Facilities Coordinator, this exciting opportunity maintains the condition and appearance of the facilities and grounds at Jubilee Park on Wizard Lake. As a member of the Parks and Recreation team, the Parks Custodian & Maintenance Worker is a key contributor to the achievement of the department’s operational deliverables.

Must-have
The physical strength to complete cleaning related tasks, a service focus with good communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate clearly, ensure mutual understanding of tasks with the campground team, the ability to follow verbal and written instructions and procedures, the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently as well as a valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license.
Nice to have
A high school diploma, one (1) year of maintenance experience in the operation of lawn mowers, grass trimmers and other lawn care equipment.

We offer a competitive hourly wage between $18.49-$23.79. This opportunity is seasonal full-time and is 40 hours per week scheduled 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Thursday – Monday, with the possibly of some extended hours to meet operational requirements. The work location is Julibee Park Campground on Wizard Lake.
