This webinar will feature two panelists: Adrian Goulet from Mahegun Tails and Taylor McPherson from Indigenous Sport Council of Alberta. They’ll share their knowledge and experience on how they’ve built meaningful partnerships and how the partnerships they’ve built have successfully contributed to the impact of their work.
Committing to building authentic relationships and trust takes time and commitment. At ARPA, we are both privileged and honoured to collaborate with Indigenous communities and partners in this capacity. These opportunities to uplift and work with Indigenous communities come from years of building relatives and meaningful relationships with leaders and champions from the community. Our huge thanks goes to our partners for sharing the gift of these incredible teachings.
The Alberta Recreation & Parks Association would like to acknowledge the First Nations, the Métis, and all of the people across Alberta who share a history and a deep connection with this land. We dedicate ourselves to moving forward in partnership with Indigenous communities in the spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.
