Permanent Full-Time Wellness Supervisor
The TLC is seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to fill a unique and exciting opportunity for a passionate leader with wellness, fitness, licensed preschool, day camp programming, and operational experience to join our Leadership Team.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Wellness Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the effective, efficient and safe delivery of all dryland wellness programs and services. In addition, this position is responsible for the overall supervision of the Fitness Centre and Child Minding Centre and all associated operations. The Wellness Supervisor may be required to work outside of traditional business hours.
The Wellness Supervisor will be a proven leader and will demonstrate excellent communication, coaching and mentoring skills. Additional key competencies include a customer-centric business approach, and strong interpersonal, teamwork and cooperation skills. Business writing and budgeting skills are essential.
A degree in Kinesiology, Recreation, Physical Education or related degree is preferred with 3-5 years of related experience. Certifications that are an asset include Personal Trainer or Certified Exercise Physiologist, fitness instruction, HIGH FIVE®, childcare certification or related training. Experience with IntelliLeisure is considered an asset. The successful candidate must provide evidence of current Standard First Aid/CPR/AED certification taken within the last two (2) years and provide a clear criminal and vulnerable sector check prior to commencement of employment.

Salary: $73,603 to $90,638/year
