Program Coordinator – Operations Parks Programs Job Number: 48295 The Operations Program Delivery and Partnerships (OPDP) team coordinates a number of programs that support environmental awareness, beautification and parkland operations. These positions will assist the Program Leads in planning, recruiting, training and supervising volunteers/staff for various OPDP programs (Pop Up Gardens, Partners in Parks, Front Yards in Bloom, Boulevard Gardening, City Farms, Bloomin’ Boulevards, etc.). These positions will coordinate program opportunities across the OPDP team to achieve similar processes and procedures. The successful candidates will also be responsible for researching and delivering content for educational programs, growing partnerships with stakeholders, websites, social media and promotional material. Shifts are variable throughout the week, including regular weekend, afternoon and evening work depending on operational requirements. Any changes will be made in accordance with the City of Edmonton/Civic Service Union 52 collective agreement and the incumbent will be notified in advance.
