educ County is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Light Equipment Operator to join our team. Reporting to the Manager – Parks, this exciting opportunity maintains and operates machinery and equipment. As a member of the Parks and Recreation team, the Light Equipment Operator is a key contributor to the achievement of the department’s operational deliverables.

About you

What you will do
What you need to succeed
Must-have
A high school diploma with one (1) year of experience in light equipment and machinery operation and maintenance and a valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license.
Nice to have
An agricultural background and/or experience, basic knowledge and experience with hand and power tools, and experience and willingness to use a chainsaw are assets.

We offer a competitive hourly salary of between $18.49 and $23.79. This opportunity is seasonal full-time and is 40 hours per week, 10 hour days, 4 days per week.
The office and work is based out of 101-1101 5 St. Nisku, AB.
