Purpose of the Position:
The Customer Experience Supervisor’s primary responsibilities are promoting and facilitating positive
member and customer experiences and providing hands on leadership and support to front line
employees to ensure safe and efficient program service delivery during evenings and weekends. This position also assumes the lead role for incident reporting and emergency management. This position requires general knowledge and familiarity with all aspects of municipal recreation facilities, events, programming, and customer service. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, conflict resolution and problem solving, ability to lead and supervise others, computer and software skills are required as well as an emphasis on self-motivation and the ability to cultivate
effective relationships with a diverse team, community groups and the public.
Want to be a part of our County team? To be successful in this position, you will possess the following qualifications:
• Post secondary degree or diploma in Recreation, Event or Facility Management, or related field
desired (combination of education and work experience may be considered)
• Standard First Aid and CPR Certification (or willing to obtain)
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• High Five-Principles of Healthy Child Development considered an asset
• Customer service courses/certificates considered an asset
• Emergency Management courses/certifications considered an asset
• Willingness to work evenings or weekend shifts in the absence of management as required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a related work environment
• Minimum 1-year of experience in a supervisory capacity
• Basic accounting, cash handling experience, preferably in a similar or related work environment
• Basic computer skills in MS Office Suite and recreation software
• Knowledge of HR administration practices
• Knowledge of municipal government and administration of public recreation facilities
• Understanding financial procedures and budgeting an asset
• Ability to lift up to 50 kg (100 lbs) comfortably and safely
• Ability to perform a variety of physical duties including set up/tear down, moving equipment,
etc.
Salary Range: Level 5 $79,164.80 to $102,481.60 annually ($38.06 to $49.27 hourly)

The successful candidate must provide a current Driver’s Abstract, Criminal Record Check and Child
Welfare Check that meets the satisfaction of the County.
