Position Overview: This is the perfect job for someone who strives to make meaningful and direct impacts in the community through the use of their natural creativity, leadership and relationship building skills. Working out of Elevation Place, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with many talented people within our organization and in the community to deliver exceptional youth programming and services that serve to enhance children and families quality of life. With this diverse role, you will have the ability to further develop your skills as you provide support to essential infant and toddler care on site at Elevation Place. Safety of participants is your number one priority, after having fun! Therefore, this role will help you build on your excellent leadership skills as you support our team of caring and compassionate childcare workers, helping to ensure that children are receiving a high standard of care while they are participating in any and all programs.

Do you have the ability to lead people, establish trust and cultivate meaningful and collaborative relationships with children, families and coworkers? This is the ideal position for a team player who is positive, energetic, and motivated by caring for and working with children of all ages. To be the best fit for this position, you have a genuine interest in working with children and families and have previous experience with youth program implementation including caring for children in a formal setting, day camps, coaching or instructing youth. You are an active individual who likes to be busy, enjoys balancing multiple priorities and takes initiate to get things done and solve problem creatively.
Qualifications/ Position Requirements:
– Minimum of a secondary school diploma/GED- Required
– Post-Secondary education or practice-based training in education, recreation administration or a related discipline – Strong Asset
– Previous Experience working with children – Required
– First Aid and CPR (Level C)- Required.
– Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search – Required
