Leduc County is looking for a motivated casual Recreation Program Leader to join our team. Reporting to the Community Program Coordinator, this exciting opportunity assists with running recreation programs, events and day camps. As a member of the Parks and Recreation team, the Recreation Program Leader supports the achievement of the department’s operational deliverables.

What you need to succeed
Must-have
Enrollment or completion of high school diploma, Standard First Aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Level C certification (or willing to obtain), and a criminal records check – vulnerable sector.
Nice to have
Child care or babysitting certificate or recreation volunteer experience and a valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s licence are assets.

We offer a competitive hourly salary of $18.49 – $23.79. The opportunity is for casual hours, working evenings and weekends. Hours may vary from month to month depending on scheduled programming activities.
The work location will vary across the County depending on the activity/program. The office is located at 101-1101 5 St. Nisku, AB.
