Business Systems Support Analyst is the primary contact and problem solver for RMS end users that require support, guidance, and solutions when issues arise. This role is also the primary contact that maintains the RMS master system data and configurations (i.e. Update/create new facilities, update/create new system fees, adjust system parameters etc.)
As Business Systems Support Analyst you will provides excellent end user customer service while working with next level support, vendors, consultants, and other department resources to deliver support and services
Responsibilities:
– Provide Tier 1 Level Recreation Management System Support and Troubleshoot by providing first level support, monitoring and responding to service requests and incidents
– Advocate and escalate service requests and incidents to next level support
– Proactively identify service request and incident trends, identify training gaps and system improvements
– Maintain RMS System by performing routine (daily, weekly, monthly) maintenance review and updates while creating documentation and support materials
– Support upgrades which include, but are not limited to system testing and issue resolution
– Provide RMS support to other departments
– Provide registration support to recreation department during peak registration cycles
– Assist department with statistical information on membership sales, facility bookings, point of sale etc
Skills and Abilities:
– Excellent analytical problem-solving abilities, with an ability to think critically, recall past practices and conduct research and evaluation to apply solutions
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written along with effective presentation skills
– Ability to be an active listener while communicating with empathy
– Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple and complete tasks in a high-pressure environment while ensuring exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
– Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across the organization
– Aptitude to understand and be the functional subject matter expert in Recreation Management Systems
– Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Qualifications:
– Post secondary diploma in an IT, recreation, business technology management or related field of study
– 2 years of related experience in a customer focused role
– Recreation experience is desirable
– Proven business analysis skills
– Knowledge of municipal operations or recreation service management is an asset
– Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered
This role may be eligible to participate in our Hybrid work program – The successful candidate will be required to reside within 2 hours of Sherwood Park, Alberta.
