The Job
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to lead our team as the Arena Supervisor. The Edson & District Leisure Centre is a vibrant hub for community activities, providing top-notch facilities for sports and recreation. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where individuals of all ages can enjoy a variety of activities while prioritizing safety and excellence in customer service.
As the Arena Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our arena facilities. Reporting directly to the Recreation Manager, you will oversee all aspects of arena operations, including ice maintenance, facility cleanliness, staff management, and customer service. Your attention to detail, leadership skills, and commitment to safety will contribute to the overall success of our facility.
The Candidate
You are a strong leader and possess the ability to make tough decisions, navigate complex situations, and maintain order among competing priorities. You are capable of effectively mediating disputes and are adept at anticipating and meeting the needs of the facility. This role requires diplomacy and a firm grasp of the arena’s dynamics.
In addition to the above, we require applicants to possess (or working towards):
• Arena Operations Level I & II
• Building Maintenance I & II

What do we offer?
Compensation
The wage range for this position is $73,700 to $90,300 per year, however, this is negotiable for the right candidate. Candidate placement within the range during the first six months on the job is dependent on experience.
