Join the Alberta Recreation & Parks Association (ARPA) and Calgary Adapted Hub Powered by Jumpstart for free webinar highlighting Inclusive Recreation Week, and its connection to June is Recreation and Parks Month (JRPM) in Alberta.
The webinar will explore how inclusive recreation initiatives are shaping more accessible, welcoming, and diverse recreational spaces across the province. As part of the broader celebration of JRPM, this special event emphasizes the importance of ensuring all Albertans—regardless of ability—have opportunities to participate in meaningful recreation and leisure experiences.
Through this collaboration, ARPA and Calgary Adapted Hub Powered by Jumpstart will:
- Showcase success stories and best practices in inclusive programming,
- Share tools and strategies to support recreation leaders and organizations,
- Highlight upcoming Inclusive Recreation Day and Week activities,
- And inspire community-wide engagement in creating barrier-free spaces.
This session is ideal for recreation professionals, municipal leaders, educators, program coordinators, and community advocates who are passionate about equity, inclusion, and the power of recreation to connect and empower individuals of all abilities.
