Green Jobs Success Story

Why is the Green Job Initiative Important?

It may not look like it, but summer is coming sooner than you think! That's why ARPA is reminding all of our members to apply for CRPA's opportunity for the Summer Work Experience Green Job Initiative between January 10th and February 22nd, 2019!

By applying for this program, you may be awarded the opportunity to help create an unforgettable summer work experience to a deserving youth from high school, post-secondary, or Indigenous communities.

How Does My Organization Benefit from the Summer Work Experience Green Job Initiative?

On behalf of Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC), CPRA will administer wage subsidies (up to 50%) to support the creation of 500 new green jobs for youth in the summer of 2019.  The maximum wage subsidy offered through this program will be $5,712.00 for each youth/job.

How Do I Apply?

Send in your application by February 22nd, 2019. You can fill out the online application form on the CPRA website. For those who are unable to complete the application online, a fillable PDF form can be requested by contacting
