Our Recreation Facilities Team is looking for an experienced Maintenance person to join them in the provision of general building maintenance, including servicing, repair and fabrication work, basic plumbing & electrical, painting and working with mechanical systems & related equipment at the Okotoks Recreation Centre and Pason Centennial Twin Arenas (PCA).

We need someone who excels at regular repair & maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns and major overhauls on building equipment including furnace, plumbing, electrical, and water park features systems. The ideal candidate is a ‘jack of all trades’ who enjoys hands on activities and enjoys interaction with the public.

We require high school completion plus 5 years general building maintenance experience. Certification in building maintenance or a related field is a definite asset. Experience working with electronic maintenance systems desirable. Must be proficient in the use of mechanics, hand tools and testing devices used to check and repair equipment. Must be able to read and understand blueprints. Possession of a valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s license is mandatory.
